Thor: Ragnarok will be opening in North American box offices over the weekend of November 3, and it is expected to pull in somewhere between $90 million and $100 million.
The film is the third in the Thor franchise. Chris Hemsworth will be returning to take on the main role, while New Zealand filmmaker Taika Waititi will be directing. Other actors in the film include Mark Ruffalo, Cate Blanchett, Idris Elba, and Anthony Hopkins.
This Thor film will be the 17th Marvel universe film released. Together those films have already pulled in a whopping $12.6 billion.
