Megyn Kelly will be leaving Fox News after 12 years to pursue a future at NBC. NBC announced the news on Tuesday afternoon.
Megyn’s new job at NBC will have three different parts. One part will be hosting her own daytime news and discussion program, another will be anchoring a Sunday night news show, as well as being able to take part int he network’s general event coverage. Her new salary was not disclosed at this time.
Megyn’s contract at Fox is not up until the summer so it is unclear whether she’ll be released from that contract early or not. She posted a statement on her Facebook page saying that Fox “changed my life” but that it was time to move onto something new.
