The September issue of Vogue is about as big as it gets in the modeling world, and on Thursday morning Kendall Jenner made the big reveal that she landed the coveted cover spot. Apparently Kendall managed to keep the news a secret from almost everyone in her life.
After the reveal on Thursday morning Kendall called in to On Air With Ryan Seacrest where she detailed that process.
“I didn’t tell anyone in my family. My mom obviously knew and then I think I spilled the beans to Kim, but I think she’s the only one that knew. She’s the best person to give a secret to.”
Kendall has been in Vogue numerous times already, but getting the September cover is a different story.
“I never genuinely saw myself on September Vogue. I mean I did, in my dreams and imagination, but I never thought it would happen in reality. So to be on it is the most insane thing.”
Kendall posted a photo of the cover to her Instagram account with a caption that let in on how excited she really is.
“In a room with a bunch of people I love, looking at this cover made me cry. I F***ING DID IT. SEPTEMBER VOGUE. this is the coolest thing ever! can’t thank you enough Anna, for giving me the honor.”
