Blac Chyna’s real name is Angela Renée White, and she had plans to call herself Angela Kardashian after her and Rob married. However, the two have since broken up and now Chyna has been denied her request to trademark the name.
The Kardashian family had filed an opposition to Chyna’s petition, saying that she was “deliberately seeking to profit from the goodwill and popularity” of the family name and their cumulative success.
They also expressed concern over “irreparable injury to their reputation and goodwill if the opposed mark is allowed to register.”
Neither Chyna nor Rob has commented on the matter at this time.
