Ariel Winter Defends Her Outfit at ‘Modern Family’ Screening

Ariel Winter has spoken out to defend her outfit choice for a finale screening of her show Modern Family. The actress chose a dress that was considerably more dressy than the outfits of her co-stars. Based on her impassionated social media rant it seems that not everyone was as happy with her outfit as she was.

Ariel posted to Instagram:

“Why can’t people just let other people feel good about themselves and do what they want?” Ariel continued. “WEAR WHATEVER YOU WANT PEOPLE!”

“As long as you feel good about yourself that’s what matters. I know I did. Don’t ever let anyone stifle who you are and how your express yourself. Rant over :)”
