2. John Walton, Sr. – ‘The Waltons‘
John Sr. worked tirelessly at a lumber mill to make ends meet for his seven children in the fictional town of Walton’s Mountain. A hard worker who passed on that same trait to his sons, John Sr. was faced with many hardships following the Great Depression, but he never slacked on staying positive and optimistic in the face of adversity.
