13. Phil Dunphy – ‘Modern Family’
He’s a cool dad who’s a bit clumsy, goofy, and reckless, but he has cemented his spot as one of the best patriarchs on television. What makes Phil so endearing is his devotion to his wife, Claire, and his never-ending attempts at bonding with his three kids. Perhaps he can take a harder approach along with a stern attitude to get his point across, but we actually love his (failed) attempts at being his kids’ best friend.
