2. R.E.M. Doesn’t Feel Fine About This
You’d think candidates would know better than to mess with outspoken musician Michael Stipe and his band R.E.M. A rally featuring GOP candidates Donald Trump and Sen. Ted Cruz blared their 1987 hit “It’s the End of the World as We Know It (And I Feel Fine).” Stipe didn’t mince words in a statement to the The Daily Beast that said, “Go f*ck yourselves, the lot of you — you sad, attention-grabbing, power-hungry little men. Do not use our music or my voice for your moronic charade of a campaign.” No sugarcoating there.
