This one is no surprise to anyone who watched American Idol back in 2012. The venom between these two judges was palpable. During auditions, there were rumors that Minaj blew up at Carey to the point of threatening her with an “I’m gonna knock you out.” They never sat next to each other and occasionally exchanged snips and eye-rolls on the show. What do you expect with that much ego at the table? Some think it was manufactured drama for ratings purposes, but it seemed pretty real to most observers.
