Isn’t it always secretly delightful when you find out that the people behind classic love stories couldn’t stand one another? Such was the case on the set of The Notebook. While the two young heartthrobs eventually buried the hatchet enough for a real life romance, the shooting of the now iconic film was extremely hectic. At one point, Gosling reportedly asked to have McAdams removed from the set, saying, “I can’t do it with her. I’m just not getting anything from this.”
