14. Peter Sellers and Orson Welles

When the comedy titan and the dramatic powerhouse got together to film 1967’s Casino Royale (a Bond-style spy spoof), Sellers’ refused to work in the same room as Welles. Apparently Sellers had a tendency to show up late, a practice the ever-professional Welles detested. The feud was so intense that the director was forced to use stand-ins and editing magic so the two actors never had to actually shoot a scene together. The result is a film that’s about as uneven as you’d expect.
