8. Whoopi Goldberg
The View co-host isn’t shy about discussing her hardships with dyslexia. Goldberg is one of the only ten people to win an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar, and a Tony Award and is the first woman to be honored with the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor. Goldberg remembers being calling “dumb” and “stupid” by her teachers growing up, but says, “I knew I wasn’t stupid, and I knew I wasn’t dumb. My mother told me that.” Today, Goldberg is one of the most accomplished entertainers in the industry.
