Can you believe KStew is one of the actresses who might have played Anastasia Steele? Fifty Shades of Grey actually started out as Twilight fan fiction, with the original characters names being Bella Swan and Edward Cullen, no less. The e-book serial later developed into its own entity and literary phenomenon, but those Twilight roots are there. Both Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson’s names were briefly considered for these pivotal Fifty Shades roles, but we think the audience wouldn’t be able to see these two together without the vampire lore getting in the way.
