30. Akiko Wakabayashi

Wakabayashi was a relatively unknown Japanese actress during the 1950s before she earned her breakout role in the 1962 film, King Kong vs. Godzilla. The 75-year-old star was originally offered a minor role for the 1967 film, You Only Live Twice, but producers were so impressed with her acting abilities that they eventually cast her in a larger role, that of Aki, the first non-European Bond girl. Wakabayashi retired from acting in 1971.
