It’s very easy to describe Pacific Rim as a “brainless robot romp” with extra lashings of mindless destruction, but this 2013 movie has a sufficient balance of science fiction and charm to satisfy any Kaiju nerd, and doesn’t take itself too seriously either.
The VFX on the other hand are also pretty top notch, using some of the biggest visual effects houses the industry has to offer.
