Angelina Jolie has announced that she plans on returning to acting after taking some time off to deal with her family situation. She has mostly been focusing on her children since the divorce from Brad but is ready to get back to work.
Angelina has a directorial project called First They Killed My Father, premiering at Telluride Film Festival. After its premiere it will land on Netflix.
“Right now, I don’t have anything to direct that I feel passionate about like this, so I’ll do some acting. I’ve taken over a year off now, because of my family situation, to take care of my kids … When I feel it’s time for me to go back to work, I’ll be able to go back to work. I’ve been needed at home. I hope [to work again] in the months to come.”
