Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck Officially File for Divorce

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck have officially filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. The two first announced their separation two years ago.

The two filed for joint custody of their kids Violet, 11, Seraphina, 9, and Samuel, 5. They filed the paperwork themselves without a lawyer which makes it seem like they were on the same page throughout the process.

They first released a statement about their divorce in 2015.

“After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce. We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time.”

It’s been reported that the former couple did not sign a prenuptial agreement which means that they might split their assets equally.
